Silver pair cased rare Litherland type rack-lever watch by the famous maker Robert Roskell of Liverpool. Both cases with matching Chester hallmarks for 1799, the maker NL is Nicholas Lee a noted Manchester case maker. Roskell was working from 1798-1830. The movement is numbered 2486. The outer case contains an interesting watch paper by the Irish watchmaker Garty of Dublin.
