This early watch is silver pair cased verge watch, made by Thomas Bell of London listed as working from 1691. The watch case has no marks which is not unusual for this period. The watch dates to I think 1702 because the unusual feature of the watch is the pierced monogram surmounted by a crown that appears to be AR, Queen Annes monogram. This would be the most likely date, as she was crowned on March 9th 1702. The watch is in good original condition and is in good working order. The dial is slightly later probably modernised around 1750.
Diameter 58 mms dial 43 mms.
